Brett Legree challenges himself and his readers to succeed in realizing their dreams. It is only after failure that we can truly succeed, so Brett’s motto is “fail early, fail often.” Get failure out of the way and soon you can have all that you desire. Join Brett’s club and start fighting for what you want!

The Deep Friar

He’s a talented artist and a gifted writer who will surely put a smile on your face and a laugh in your belly. I don’t know how he does it, but our friend the Friar is always on. Every time he releases one of his posts, you’ll be entertained by his wit and humor. All hail the Friar!

G’s Cottage

Get a peek inside the life of someone you don’t meet too often in the blogosphere – a columnist whose work is regularly published in print. Deb is a writer and a photographer with life experience and solid writing skills, and her posts are always thoughtful and thought-inspiring.

Life’s Little Inspirations

I don’t know how I ever got through a week without reading the heartfelt and inspirational posts at Life’s Little Inspirations. Wendi Kelly has a natural talent for pulling your heartstrings. She’ll make you laugh, make you cry, and make you want to live life to its fullest and appreciate every detail. Whenever I’m in a slump, Wendi lifts me out of it. I swear she’s got magical powers.

Matthew Dryden

You want to read something captivating? Something that sort of blows your mind and turns you on at the same time? Meet Matthew Dryden, a man who is literally at war with his own creativity (no kidding – he killed his own muse). He’s a storyteller, a poet, and though he won’t admit it, he’s a blogger. Plus he’s a Twitter night owl, which gives him bonus writerly points in my book.

Punctuality Rules

Want grammar? Deb Boyken’s got it! Every Mangled Monday, she spells out the rules and regulations of proper English. And the rest of the week, she shares her insights on writing. She also blogs about knitting (on her other blogs) so if you brandish a pen or a set of knitting needles (or both), she’s your girl, and she rocks!

Screenwriting for Hollywood

We hear a lot about fiction, poetry, and freelancing. I think screenwriting often gets overlooked, which is why I’m thrilled that Jaden, who also happens to be one of my oldest and dearest friends (yes, in the other, non-digital world) gives us Screenwriting for Hollywood. She’s spent many years living and working in Hollywood so she’s got the inside scoop and tips for writers who’ve got their sights set on the big screen.

Words for Hire

Karen Swim has a bounce in her step, I just know it! Few people can inspire with the spunk and charisma that Karen brings to each and every post she shares. First, she’ll inspire you to write. Then, you suddenly realize what you really want to do is write while you’re dancing on tables. Go on and kick up your heels and wave that pen in air!

Write from Home

When I think of Amy Derby, I always grin. She’s got a sly, wry wit. As I read her posts, I’m shaking my head with a big grin sprawled across my face. Amy encourages you to question, makes you think, and gets you to laugh. She’s a workaholic but don’t let that fool you. She’s got a huge heart!

Writing the Cyber Highway

Michele L. Tune, where would I be without you? She’s one of the first people I met in this crazy place we call the blogosphere and has been warm and supportive from the very beginning. If you ever crave the warm fuzzies, head over to Michele’s blog because she’s generous with them and with her readers. She not only loves writing, she loves people too and her affection is extremely encouraging and appreciated!
